Day One
Arrival,Kampala /Entebbe
You are met by your host at Entebbe International airport.
Transfer to Lake Victoria Serena , Marriot Protea/Best Western Holiday inn Entebbe or Kampala Forest Cottages 10
min (45mins -2 hr drive depending on
traffic) .(Dont forget to change money)Check in for Dinner and overnight .(Bed & Bfst)
Day two
Depart for Murchison Falls N.P at 07:00. Make your entry at
Kacumbanyobo Gate. Visit the Top of the Falls where The Nile on its tempestuous
journey is forced into a narrow crevice
before dropping 40M below in a thundering cauldron; giving birth to scores of
birdlife,hippo, Nile crocodile lying in
wait for victims. Check in at Paraa Safari ,Kabalega or Pakuba lodge
.Dinner & overnight (5 hr

Day three DAYS HIGHLIGHT- Game drive ,launch cruise
05:30 Early morning wakeup call and breakfast .Game
drive in time to catch the animals,
Ground/ Abyssinian Hornbill, Grey Kestrel, Elephant, Buffalo, Hartebeest,
Giraffe, Duiker, kob, Lion and the elusive Leopard.
14:00 After lunch check out and head for an afternoon launch cruise- Spot Plenty of
Birdlife, Malachite Kingfisher, Fish Eagle, Cormorants, and Saddle billed
Stork, Hippo, crocodile, Buffalo,
Giraffe, Elephant .Anchor 300 M from the bottom of the falls. Take
photographs with the breathtaking falls in the backdrop veering past the canyon
where Ernest Hemingway the famous 20th century writer crash landed.Exit the
boat at the bottom of the falls and take the trail to the top of the falls
where your vehicle shall be waiting for you. Transfer to Budongo EcoLodge for
Dinner & Overnight (Full Board)
Day four Chimp tracking, , Albertine Rift
After an early breakfast,check out and head for chimp tracking. Birding is excellent with the
chance of sighting rarities such as the yellow-footed flycatcher, Ituribatis,
and white tithed hornbill. Other primates to be seen in the forest include
black and white colobus monkeys leaping and chartering in the tall trees as
well as the blue monkeys. After tracking proceed to Fort Portal with a lunch
stopover in Kontiki hotel or Hoima
Cultural Village through verdant
country side ,traditional homesteads and farms. Dinner and overnight Kyaninga
Lodge , Fort Motel or Mountains of The
Moon . (6hr drive). (Half Board)
Day five Queen
Elizabeth N. Park
08:00After early morning breakfast, check out and depart for
Queen Elizabeth N. Park . (there is an option to visit Kibale Forest N.Park for
another chance of chimp tracking) Enroute you get to spot the fabled ‘Mountains
of The Moon’ past tea estates and Kasese town.Stopover at the Equator for photographs
before proceeding. Game drive enroute to Mweya peninsular . Checkin at Katara or Mweya Safari or Buffalo
Lodge for Dinner & Overnight ( 2hr

Day six Game drive, Cultural visit
05:30 Early wakeup call
in time for a game drive in
search of predators lions, elephants,Giant Forest Hog, Warthogs, elephants,
Topi, Buffalo the Kob Mating Grounds and
birdlife .Options: Visit Hamukungu fishing village or Kikorongo’s
or,African Art Craft village.Learn the art of weaving baskets and bowls using natural fibre. Walk
through the Katwe Salt mines that have sustained livelihoods since dating back
to the 16th C. Cross the mud walkways and enter a traditional grass hut for a
traditional experience. You may also pass
the nearby bird sanctuary lake, home to thousands of birds, including
flamingoes from October to May. Return
to your Lodge for lunch.
2:00PM After lunch
head for an afternoon launch trip. Up close to a variety of
hippo,elephant,buffalo. fish eagle, goliath heron, African Jacana and Egyptian geese. ‘U’ turn just before the mountain ranges in the
horizon before you return to base (2 hour
cruise). Return to Mweya Safari Lodge/Katara or Buffalo Lodge for Dinner and
Overnight . (Full Board)
Day seven Bwindi impenetrable Forest National
park Mt.Gorillas
After breakfast at leisure ,depart for Bwindi impenetrable
Forest National park via the Southern ishasha with a chance of spotting tree Climbing Lions,topi, kobs ,birdlife
,elephant and buffalo .Check-in at Mahogany Lodge ,Gorilla Mist Ruhija or Silverback Lodge or similar camp Take an
optional visit to the local medicineman or visit the waterfalls in the
forest.Dinner &overnight.(Full Board)
Day eight Gorilla
tracking
Have an early morning wakeup call at 6:30AM and breakfast
before briefing by ranger/guide at 8:00am before you begin our trek. (Dont forget
your packed lunch). Depart for Lake Lake
Mutanda or Lake Bunyonyi as you drive through the misty slopes of Bwindithrough
Echuya Forest Reserve renown for endemic birdlife . (3-5hrs)Checkin at Chameleon Hill or Mutanda Lake Resort OR Birds Nest or Bunyony i Eco-Resort if staying at
Lake Bunyonyi .Dinner & Overnight

Day nine Lake Mburo
National Park
After breakfast ,take an island trip by motorboat.
If staying at Lake Mutanda, your ride to the burial place of Kyangushu
will be followed by Mutanda Island, the biggest and the only inhabited one. On
a clear day it offers views of Bunagana (Congo border), Lake Mulehe and Bwindi
NP. There are also other trails including the village trail and the Batwa
tribal trail available on request.
If staying on ,Lake Bunyonyi it offers similar activities including Island hoping boat ride,
visit to Kyevu market & volcanic gas emissions,Bukora cave and abaheshi
blacksmiths, local market , hiking and bird watching.
After lunch at leisure,
head to Lake Mburo National Park
with a brief stopover at Igongo
Cultural Museum. Game drive enroute
Check in at Mihingo , Mburo Safari lodge or Eagles Nest for dinner & overnight . (3hr drive)Dinner & Overnight (Half Board)
Day ten Lake Mburo
National Park/Equator and Jinja
08:00After breakfast check out as you game drive enroute
.Spot Zebra, Cape buffalo, eland, topi,
or take a guided walk or a visit to the
local herdsmen in the surrounding
villages. Depart for Jinja with a stopover at the Equator. Take photos astride the Centre of The World.
Enroute to Jinja you pass through tea
and sugar plantations and the luxuriant Mabira Forest with a lunch stop in
Kampala .Check in at Haven , Nile or
Eden Resort for Dinner & Overnight.

Day eleven Source of
The Nile
After breakfast , head for a trip to Itanda Falls
Explore the local villages and main street Jinja. Be on time for a boat
cruise at The Source of The Nile .After lunch at Sailing Club ,depart for
Kampala past fruit markets arriving late afternoon .checkin at Kampala Serena
or Fairway hotel or Kampala Forest Cottages for dinner & overnight
Day twelve Departure
After breakfast at leisure, depart for Entebbe International
Airport to catch your onward flight. Depending on flight time you may wish to
visit the,Kasubi tombs, Botanical Gardens in Entebbe.
