 Day One

Arrive Entebbe International Airport and transfer to the idyllic Lake Vic Serena,Marriot Protea Ebb, Best Western Holiday Inn or Kampala Forest Cottages.  Depending on your time of arrival you may choose to acquaint yourself with the capital.    Dinner & overnight (1-2   hr drive) (Bed & bfst)

 Day Two Source of The Nile

 After breakfast at leisure visit curio shops at the crafts village and the Namugongo Shrines or Kasubi Tombs UNESCO world heritage site with the largest thatched mausoleum in East Africa. The tombs are the burial grounds of the last four kings of the six hundred year old Buganda Kingdom. After lunch, depart for Jinja town past tea and sugar plantations and the luxuriant Mabira Forest. Check in at Haven ,Eden Rock or similar lodge. Head for a  boat cruise at The Source of The Nile where the river begins its tempestuous 4000 mile journey.  Return   for Dinner & Overnight. (1.5-2hr drive) 

Day Three Murchison Falls

Depart for Murchison Falls N.P at 07:00. Make your entry at Kacumbanyobo Gate. Check in at Paraa Safari Lodge ,Kabalega Lodge ,Twiga or Pakuba Lodge. Afternoon at leisure.  After dinner head for a night game drive Sight the elusive leopard, Porcupine, civet cats ,hyenas ,lions are also  most active in the night.  Return for  overnight (Full Board)..(6-7 hr drive)

Day Four  - Game drive 

 Arrange an 05:30 early morning wakeup call. After breakfast Game drive  in time to catch the animals, Ground/ Abyssinian Hornbill, Grey Kestrel, Elephant,Giraffe, Duiker, kob, Lion, the elusive Leopard, Buffalo, Hartebeest, and other ungulates .  After lunch head for  an afternoon launch cruise- Spot Plenty of Birdlife, Malachite Kingfisher, Fish Eagle, Cormorants, and Saddle billed Stork, Hippo, crocodile,Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephant. Take photographs with the breathtaking falls in the backdrop veering past the canyon where Ernest Hemingway the famous 20th century writer crash landed .This is where you shall exit and hike to the Top of The Falls where your vehicle shall transfer you to   at Budongo Forest cabins Dinner & Overnight (Full Board).

Day Five   Chimp tracking

 Early morning wakeup call and breakfast. Check out to be on time for chimp tracking (Don’t forget  your packed lunch). Birding is excellent with the chance of sighting rarities such as the yellow-footed flycatcher, Ituri batis, and white tithed hornbill. Other primates to be seen in the forest include black and white colobus monkeys leaping and chartering in the tall trees as well as the blue monkeys.After tracking. Proceed to Fort Portal with a break in Hoima Cultural Village   through verdant country side ,traditional homesteads and farms. Head for the optional  night walk in Kibale Forest ,sightings include  Bush Babies, Pottos, at times Tree Pangolins ,Pottos ,Thomas’Galago and other nocturnal animals, including the birds on ‘ghost shift’in the forest. Dinner and overnight Kyaninga Lodge or Mountains of The Moon . (6hr drive)for  Dinner & Overnight. (Half Board).

 Day Six Crater Lakes,Queen Elizabeth N.P

 After breakfast at leisure ,walk through unspoilt virgin forest teeming with wildlife and exotic plant species or the stalagmite and Stalactite caves . (optional chimp tracking) Here you will see bat caves, troupes of black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys,vervet, and bird species too numerous to mention.The visit reveals the clearest of western Uganda’s several  crater lakes before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Ruwenzori mountain range .(2hr drive)Check in at Mweya Safari Lodge  Katara or  Bush Lodge  for Dinner & Overnight.

Day Seven on the road to the Gorillas

 Have an early morning breakfast before starting your game drive by 6:30am.Catch the African sunrise on The Peninsular, and an animal galore of Lions back from their overnight hunt, Elephants, Buffalos, Hyenas, the Rare Giant Forest hog, Warthogs, the  Kob mating grounds, teeming birdlife  and   crater lakes.After lunch, Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Ishasha in search for tree climbing lions. 4hr drive)Arrive early afternoon and check in at Mahogany Lodge, Silverback or Ruhija Lodge.  Afternoon options include a Village Walk a walk to the falls or to  the local medicine man, an  experience of banana brewing and a  visit to the Batwa tribe for traditional performances.   Dinner & overnight.

 Day  Eight Gorilla tracking

Arrange an early morning wakeup call and breakfast at 6:30AM before briefing by Ranger/Guide at 8:00am in preparation for your adventure. Dinner & Overnight.

 Day Nine   Lake Mburo National Park

 08:00 After breakfast at leisure head for Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stopover  at  Great Lakes museum ,Ntungamo or Igongo Cultural Museum. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda that hosts Impala and the only one in the region with Burchell’s Zebra and Eland. Other species include topi, watthog, buffalo, Oribi, Waterbuck Defasa , Reedback .Game drive enroute Check in at Mihingo,Rwakobo Rock or Mburo Safari Lodge for  dinner & overnight  . (4hr drive)

Day Ten Equator stop

After breakfast at leisure return to Kampala .with a brief stop at the Equator. Check in at  Sheraton Kampala,Lake Vic. Serena,Best Western Holiday Inn Entebbe  or Kampala Forest Cottages . Visit the city centre including the fruit markets and craft shops to pick up a souvenir at leisure. Dinner  and overnight.

Day   Eleven

After breakfast, depart for Entebbe International Airport. Depending on flight time you may wish to visit  Botanical Gardens in Entebbe.
