Drive through the picturesque landscapes, stopping at Mpambire Drum Market and the Equator line for a coffe break and memorable photos at the 'Centre of The World" . After lunch at Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Museum Mbarara. Continue your scenic drive through the rolling hills of western Uganda , arriving in Bwindi late afternoon. Check-in at Nkuringo Safari Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Camp, 4 Gorillas or similar camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Start your day with an wakeup call and a hearty breakfast to give you the energy required. 0:800 After briefing by your assigned ranger on tracking guidelines , begin your epic trek . Tracking can take from 30 minutes to 5-6 hours. Be witness to meeting with the mountain gorillas and sit among them, marveling at the sheer size of the dominant Silverback. After this encounter, your guide shall find you a picnic spot before you return to base . Recuperate or explore optional activities lincluding waterfall trek or a participate in experiencing the daily chores of a Mukiga woman in her homestead ,witness coffee brewing or banana beer brewing on the village walk. Day 4: Departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park After a hearty breakfast, depart at leisure for for Queen Elizabeth National Park through the southern sector, with a chance of spotting tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants, and abundant birdlife. After breakfast. Enjoy lunch at Mweya before embarking on a launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This channel is known for its vast hippo population and various wildlife species. Transfer to Mweya, Katara Lodge, Park View, Elephant Plains or your other appointed lodge for dinner and an overnight . Day 5: Return to Kampala/Entebbe with 'Valley of Apes" Kyambura After an early breakfast at 6:30 AM. Opt for an exciting visit to Kyambura Gorge with an underground forest reminiscent of Indiana Jones thrillers , in search of chimps or an experiential game drive. This adventure allows you to actively participate in monitoring exotic birds and mammals while contributing valuable information to wildlife ecology research. Other options include visiting Hamukungu fishing village, basket weavers, or Katwe Salt mines. Return to Kampala or Entebbe for dinner and an overnight stay at your appointed hotel (drive: 6-7 hours).
