Transfer to your hotel in Kampala (45 mins to 2 hrs drive, depending on traffic). Don't forget to exchange money. Check-in at your qppointed hotel. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Day Two: Kibale Forest National Park/Fort Portal After breakfast, depart for Fort Portal town through scenic countryside west of the capital (4-5 hrs). Check-in at your chosen lodge. Afternoon at leisure or visit Toro Kingdom Palace, Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves, Bigodi Wetland for papyrus endemics, Lake Kyaninga rim walk, Muhoma Falls, or simply enjoy the serenity of your lodge. Day 3: Chimp Tracking in Kibale Forest and Departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park Wake early for breakfast and head for chimp tracking with a briefing before your adventure. Encounter diurnal species like Red Colobus Monkey, Blue Monkey, Red-tailed Monkey, Gray Checked Mangabeys, Vervet Monkey, and Butterflies. Enjoy a picnic lunch. Optional activities include exploring Ruwenzori mountains, Fort Portal Town, Toro Palace, Bigodi Wetland, and a night forest walk in Kibale. Dinner and overnight stay with full board included.
Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park After breakfast, check out and take an optional early morning experiential game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, looking out for lions, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, the rare Giant Forest Hog, warthogs, kobs, and abundant birdlife. Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via the Southern sector. You may spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffalos, and other ungulates in Ishasha. Check in at your appointed camp or lodge and enjoy an optional village walk to immerse yourself in the local culture. Dinner and overnight stay included (drive: 4 hrs). Day Five: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest/Lake Mburo National Park Wake up early and have breakfast before heading for a briefing by the ranger/guide at 8:00 AM for gorilla tracking. Don't forget your packed lunch. After tracking the gorillas and spending approximately one hour with them, return to the base for freshening up and checkout. Depart for Lake Mburo National Park, arriving late in the evening. Check-in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay (5 hrs drive). Day Six: Equator Stop, Return to Kampala/Entebbe After breakfast, enjoy a game drive or walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park before departing. Visit the Enyemebwa Cultural Centre, featuring traditional huts, milk pots, and artifacts. Stop at the Equator crossing for photos. Continue your return journey, passing fruit markets, lush forests, and drum makers. Arrive late afternoon (4 hrs drive) and check-in at your hotel in time for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Day Seven: Departure After breakfast at your leisure, depart for Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight. Depending on your flight time, you may wish to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kasubi Tombs, Wamala Tombs, city markets, or craft shops before your departure.
