Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda

The drive to Akagera national park takes about 2.5 hours, with beautiful landscapes en route. On arrival at the park, you'll proceed on a game drive to spot big mammals like elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and recently re-introduced lions and rhinos. The park is also a birding paradise. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on Lake Ihema to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and elephants. Overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 3: Full Game Drive in Akagera NP and Return to Kigali
Embark on a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park, exploring the south to north. The duration of the game drive depends on your interests and wildlife sightings. Afterward, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Mille Collines Hotel or Onomo Hotel.
Day 4: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Gatuna Border
In the morning, explore Kigali with a city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. Afterward, head to Gatuna/Rwanda-Uganda border, where your host will be waiting for you on the Ugandan side. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through the picturesque hills of Kisoro. Check in at 4 Gorillas Lodge, and enjoy the Batwa Cultural Trail experience. Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After registration and briefing by your ranger guide, embark on the trek to track the gorillas, a thrilling experience that can take several hours. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest and then return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha)

After an early breakfast, depart for chimp tracking in Kibale Forest. Don't forget your picnic lunch and water bottle. Besides chimps, the forest teems with various monkey species, birds, and butterflies. After tracking, immerse yourself in the community, visit tea and coffee plantations, or explore local cultural sites. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast at leisure, depart for Lake Mburo National Park via Kamwenge. Check in at Mihingo Lodge and choose to enjoy an evening game drive or boat ride. Relax and prepare for dinner and an overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge.
Day 10: Depart for Entebbe via Uganda Equator
Enjoy breakfast and depart for Entebbe via Mbarara. Stop at the Uganda Equator for a photo opportunity before reaching your chosen hotel in Entebbe (Protea Hotel by Marriott or Lake Victoria Serena Hotel). You can opt for evening leisure or dining out in Entebbe. Overnight stay.
Day 11: Departure from Entebbe
Check out from your hotel and depart for Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight to Nairobi.
