Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe International Airport Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your host will greet you. Transfer to your hotel, which is a 5-minute to 2-hour drive to Kampala depending on traffic. Don't forget to exchange currency. Check-in and enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.Options: Lake Victoria Serena, Marriot Protea, Avelino Water Front K Hotel or Boma Guest House .Basis:Bed and Breakfast Day 2: Flight to Kisoro town/Southern Bwindi ’ Batwa Cultural Village’ or island hoping After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport and transfer to catch your flight to Kisoro . On arrival at Kisoro Airfield ,your guide will transfer you to for check in at Ikoro Hotel ,Lake Mulehe Lodge ,Ichumbi Hotel,Rushaga Gorilla Camp orTravellers Rest Hotel .After lunch, head for a guided village walk or island hoping . This provides guests with an opportunity to support the local community whilst enjoying visiting various interesting places as you follow a walking trail through the village. Batwa Cultural Village Mutanda Island is the biggest and the only inhabited island on Lake Mutanda. On a clear day it offers views of Bunagana (Congo border), Lake Mulehe and Bwindi NP. Return to your appointed accommodation Basis:Breakfast Lunch, Dinner and overnight Day 3: Gorilla Tracking, Mt .Mgahinga or Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Rise early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla tracking. Do not forget your lunch pack and water bottle.8:00 AM:Report to the ranger station for registration and a talk by one of the rangers. The guides will split you into groups then take you through the bush, pushing your way through the undergrowth, to track the gorillas. (Please note this trek can take from 30 minutes to 5-6 hours). Marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male, the Silverback. After picnic lunch in the forest , return to your lodge for dinner & Overnight. Basis: Lunch, Dinner and overnight
Day 4:Hiking Mt. Mgahinga National Park -4127M ASL” Sabinyo Gorge Hike –‘Golden Monkey experience 0:6:15 Depart for a Sabinyo gorge walk and hiking in Mt. Mgahinga National Park .Do not forget your picnic lunch ,lots of drinking water hiking boots and a warm jacket . The Walk is a 5-6 hours walk meandering in the lower slopes of Mount Sabyinyo, taking travelers through different vegetation zones all the way to the gorge. The walk reveals spectacular views of the Virunga volcanoes and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest .Take photos of the peaks ,also habitat of the Moutain Gorillas. The trail boasts several bird species including : Rwenzori Turaco, white necked raven, ibis, grey capped warbler, waxbills, pin-tailed whydah, paradise flycatcher and yellow vented bulbul among others. The trail starts in the bamboo forests proceeding to the deep forest a habitat for numerous birds and wild animals.
