Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival – Entebbe/Kampala
Meet your host at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Dinner and overnight stay. Suggested Hotels: Marriott Protea, Sheraton, Serena, Hilton Garden, Botanical Beach Hotel.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Depart early for Bwindi, stopping at the Equator for photos and Mbarara for lunch. Arrive in Bwindi by late afternoon and check in at your lodge. Suggested Lodges: Nkuringo Safari Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Camp, 4 Gorillas Lodge.
Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast and briefing, begin your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. Optional village walk or waterfall trek in the afternoon. Overnight at lodge.
To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Travel north via Ishasha for a chance to see tree-climbing lions. After lunch in Mweya, enjoy a Kazinga Channel boat cruise. Overnight at lodge. Suggested Lodges: Mweya Safari Lodge, Katara Lodge, Elephant Plains.
Kyambura Gorge – Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Explore the underground forest of Kyambura Gorge for a chance to spot chimpanzees, or choose a cultural experience at Katwe Salt Lake or a local fishing village. Return to Kampala/Entebbe. Day6: Departure Depending on your flight time, enjoy optional city sightseeing, visit craft markets or the Kasubi Tombs. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
