Arrival in Entebbe/Kampala
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly received by your host and transferred to your hotel in Kampala (approx. 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic). Check-in, exchange currency if needed, and unwind. Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park (via Fort Portal)
After breakfast, depart westwards through beautiful countryside to Fort Portal (approx. 4–5 hours). Check in to your selected lodge. Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, head to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. The forest teems with 13 species of primates, 300+ bird species, and 250 butterfly species. After your trek, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 2-hour drive), stopping at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenirs. Enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains en route. Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Optional early morning game drive through Kasenyi or Mweya plains to spot lions, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, and the rare Giant Forest Hog. Continue southwards through Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy game viewing en route to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (approx. 4 hrs). Upon arrival, check-in and unwind or take a village cultural walk. Gorilla Tracking – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Rise early for breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing at 8:00 AM. Head into the forest to track mountain gorillas, spending one magical hour in their presence.Return to your lodge to freshen up and depart for Lake Mburo National Park (approx. 5 hrs). Lake Mburo – Return to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a walking safari or game drive in the park, known for zebras, impalas, elands, and giraffes. Visit the Enyemebwa Cultural Centre, showcasing traditional pastoralist life.Stop at the Equator Crossing for photos and souvenirs. Continue your journey to Kampala or Entebbe (approx. 4 hrs).
