Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival - Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be met by your host and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe,Check in at Lake Victoria Serena or Best Western Holiday Inn, Enjoy an evening dinner at Faze 3 beachside restaurant on Lake Victoria or in Entebbe before returning for overnight .
Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart for the Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for Rhino tracking and wildlife viewing. After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the Top of the Falls to witness the Nile's drop at its narrowest point bursting into a thundering rainbow plume . Check in at Paraa Safari Lodge, Kabalega Wilderness Lodge, Sambiya River Lodge, Murchison Lodge,Gipir and Labongo ,Okorom Lodge , or Pakuba Lodge for dinner and an overnight .
Game Drive and Launch Cruise
After breakkfast, be on time for an early morning game drive.Spot wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and lions. In the afternoon, enjoy a launch cruise on the Nile to see birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and more. Transfer to Budongo Ecolodge for dinner and overnight.
Chimp Tracking and Albertine Rift
After breakfast, proceed for chimp tracking in the forest. After lunch, depart for Hoima, passing through scenic landscapes and the Albertine Rift. Check in at Hoima Cultural Lodge or Kontiki Hotel. You can explore the night market and pick up a succulent pineapple or apple bananas before you return for dinner and overnight.
Semuiki Wildlife Reserve and Royal Mparo Tombs
After breakfast, head southwest to Semuliki Wildlife Reserve via the Albertine Rift. Visit historical and cultural sites, including the Royal Mparo Tombs in Hoima. Check in at Semliki Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, visit the hot springs of Semuliki National Park and the pygmies of Bundibugyo before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route and check in at Katara , Park View ,Ihamba or Mweya Safari Lodge, Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge, for dinner and an overnight stay.
Game Drive and Cultural Visit
After an early morning breakfast, head for a game drive to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, and more. Afternoon options include visiting local villages, African Art Craft villages, the Katwe Salt mines, or the nearby bird sanctuary. Return to your lodge for lunch and rest before an afternoon launch trip spotting hippos, elephants ,buffalo, fish eagles,pelica,s, saddle billed storks among an impressive 606 bird species. Return to base before you are transfered to your appointed Lodge or Camp for dinner and overnight.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (Mountain Gorillas)
After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via the Ishasha sector, where you might spot tree-climbing lions. Check in at Mahogany Lodge, Gorilla Mist Ruhija, or Silverback Lodge.Take an experiential visit to the medicine man, a homestead to participate in the daily household chores of a Mukiga woman including winnowing , grinding and preparing coffee or millet porridge.Return to your appointed lodge or camp for dinner and overnight
Gorilla Tracking and Lake Mutanda or Lake Bunyonyi
After an early morning wake-up call and breakfast embark on gorilla tracking. After the trek, drive to Lake Mutanda or Lake Bunyonyi. Check in at Chameleon Hill or Mutanda Lake Resort (or Birds Nest, Arcadia Cottages, or Bunyonyi Rock if staying at Lake Bunyonyi). Enjoy various activities or simply relax before a sumptuous dinner and overnight.
Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, explore the islands by motorboat (if at Lake Mutanda) or enjoy activities around Lake Bunyonyi. After lunch, head to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping at Igongo Cultural Museum. Check in at Mihingo, Mburo Safari Lodge, Rwakobo Rock, or Eagles Nest.
Lake Mburo National Park/Equator Kampala
After breakfast, game drive or take guided walks. Depart for Kampala with a stop at the Equator for photos. Check in at Speke Resort Munyonyo,Casa Milto, Kampala Sheraton, Karay Suites or similar hotel for inner and overnight.
Source of The Nile Jinja
After breakfast at leisure, depart for Source of The Nile through Sezibwa Falls, the luxuriant Mabira Forest via tea and sugar plantations .Explore local villages and the main street in Jinja. Take a boat cruise at the Source of The Nile and enjoy lunch at the Sailing Club or a local restaurant . Check in at Haven, Nile,Resort,Source of The Nile in Jinja or similar hotel for dinner and an overnight .
Departure
After breakfast, depart for Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight. Depending on your flight time, you may visit sites like theor Botanical Gardens in Entebbe before departure.
